“Streetscape” refers to the visual appearance of a roadway formed by the location of physical features such as buildings, pedestrian, cycling and vehicular facilities and landscaping. Features, such as street lights, trees and landscaping, and street furniture can contribute to the unique character of a block or entire neighborhood. West-Wind Nurseries is experienced in all aspects of Civil landscaping and streetscapes. We have completed many installations to meet MMCD and BCLNA standards. We grow much of the plant material used in most city projects at our production nursery, as to provide a product that is naturalized to the local landscape and more likely to survive in the sometimes harsh conditions of city streetscapes.
